Holiday With My Horse - For You
You and your friends can stay in one of our lovely light and spacious double/twin bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom.
Bicycles are provided for your stay, so you can cycle forest lanes to the excellent village cafe, farm shop and the pub. Some of the accommodation is half a mile from the main yard, and so is about 10 minute walk or 3 minute cycle, along a small charming lane, often passing New Forest ponies and cows.
We are just over 5 minutes by car from the small and charming rural market town of Ringwood.
We provide a warm welcome for riders to come to the farm with their equine friends, and enjoy the beauty and freedom of riding directly onto the New Forest National Park, from the farm gate of our established equine yard.
Your stay will include: a bright large modern twin bedroom, either adjoining the stable yard or in our large cottage annex at the further end of the farm, both with wi-fi; a shower en-suite, linen and towels. This is on a self-catering basis and there is a kitchen with a breakfast table, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge. Tea, coffee and biscuits.
Outside there is a garden seating area to enjoy and relax in.
Once you arrive at the farm for your day's riding, you can enjoy the warm atmosphere of our livery yard. There are other equine-friendly folk to chat to and also superb facilities.
While we know you'll be itching to get on with riding out on the New Forest, you can also enjoy our 'Mane Room' - a purpose-built cottage-style kitchen and Riders Lounge, complete with hot drinks, cakes, SKY tv, Wi-Fi, a shower and changing rooms.
Within a stone's throw of the farm and the accommodation is 'The Alice Lisle
' pub, (800 metres), serving good food and offering a typical New Forest pub experience. Perfect for lunch or for dinner at the end of the day's riding!
Also within a short walk or cycle - is a divine local 'secret': 'Hockeys Farm Shop and Cafe
' serving hearty organic farm breakfasts, warming tea-cakes and scones, hot chocolates and other fares during the day. Our friends Laura, Jonny, Anne, Robin and their team at Hockey`s will welcome you. Stock up with supplies in the wonderful farm shop too!
